This is another non-Arty-related post... sorta. Somebody on the lovely Volksworld forum posted a link to an e-petition to get any classic car, over 25 years old, to be tax exempt!
This will also mean that, as it's a rolling term, your car will eventually become tax exempt- so if you've got an '88 registered car, it'll be tax exempt in a couple of years!

ReplyDeleteIt was changed back when I had a '76 bug, and only had two years left of paying tax...
You have to watch out for something dodgy they're trying... that only fully restored cars will be allowed classic/historic status and therefore will be the only ones eligible for tax exemption!
